Soccer star David is heading Down Under with the LA Galaxy team to take on the Newcastle Jets in a one-off friendly showdown on Saturday.
His fashion plate wife will be a surprise addition to the team, according to Woman's Day magazine.
It says Victoria is focusing all her energy on the perfect wardrobe for her "epic Australian" adventure.
The LA Galaxy is expected to touch down in Newcastle on Thursday and activities have been planned for the players.
They will able to wash away any jetlag with surfing at Merewether Beach or they could get friendly with the wildlife at Blackbutt Reserve.
Victoria almost made a trip to Melbourne last month with the Victoria Racing Club and its major sponsors involved in big-budget talks to have her here for the Victoria Derby, Melbourne Cup and Oaks Day.
The deal, rumoured to be worth up to $1 million, did not go ahead, although the VRC said it was hopeful it could host Victoria next year.
