David Beckham se sumará al AC Milan a tiempo para unirse al club en su campo de entrenamiento de invierno en Dubai

El ex capitan inglés publicó en su sitio la confirmación de viajar con el equipo el 29 de Diciembre. ''David se unirá con sus nuevos compañeros del AC MIlan este mes para su entrenamiento en el Emirates Winter Training Camp en Dubai'' decia la frase.

''Llegará a los Emiratos Árabes Unidos con todo el resto del equipo del Milan, incluyendo Ronaldinho, Kaka y Andriy Shevchenko el 29 de Diciembre antes de comenzar a entrenar el día siguiente."

Milan tiene programado jugar contra Hamburg en el Dubai Football Challenge el 6 de enero antes de regresar a Italia.

Beckham jugará para el Milan en un prestamo de poco tiempo durante la Major League Soccer y regresará a Los Angeles Galaxy para el comienzo de la temporada 2009, el 21 de marzo.

David Beckham is to join up with AC Milan in time to join the club at their winter training camp in Dubai.

The former England captain issued a statement on his website today confirming his intention to travel with the squad on 29 December.

"David will join up with his new AC Milan team-mates later this month for their Emirates Winter Training Camp in Dubai," the statement said.

"He'll arrive in the United Arab Emirates along with the the rest of the Milan squad, including Ronaldinho, Kaka and Andriy Shevchenko on 29th December before beginning training the following day."

Milan are scheduled to play against Hamburg in the Dubai Football Challenge on 6 January before returning to Italy.

Beckham is joining Milan on a short-term loan during the Major League Soccer's close-season, and is due to return to the Los Angeles Galaxy ahead of the start of the 2009 season on 21 March.
