The world’s biggest ever online awards event is to be held in Singapore next month to recognise the biggest stars of social media.
social media site Starcount has entered into a partnership with YouTube to bring the inaugural Social Star Awards to an international audience on May 23.
The inaugural Social Star Awards will be the world’s first 24 hour multi-genre social media Awards, presenting 288 Social Stars (that’s an award every five minutes) across every country and the 11 biggest global categories that have dominated the social media landscape over the last 12 months.
The awards are based on data from Starcount which uniquely aggregates and charts social media’s most popular stars and celebrities through the measurement of 1.7billion people’s social media activity.
