Becks flattered by interest
Former England captain admits 'it's nice to still be wanted'

The 36-year-old has been touted for a return to the Premier League with Tottenham and QPR both revealing their interest in the player.

And although the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder has held talks with Galaxy president Tim Leiweke, he admits 'it's nice to still be wanted.'

He told Sky Sports News: "I've got a lot of friends in different teams around England and around Europe, so I'm in constant contact with people, but I've heard the rumours about European teams being after me.

"It's always nice to be wanted especially at 36-years-old to still be wanted by some of these big teams and some of these great managers.

Rumours
"Obviously there are rumours but there have always been rumours about me going places and about me moving back to places.

"At the moment I'm a Galaxy player and I'll continue to be. As I've said, at the end of the season, obviously my contract's up, but I'm happy here."

And in regard to a new one-year contract offer from the Galaxy, Beckham replied: "We've spoken and I've spoken with Tim (Leiweke) and we've talked through it.

"But Tim knows that I need to wait until the end of the season just to see how I feel physically."
