As David Beckham enjoyed a cold beer on Newcastle's cafe strip last night, locals were left more than a tad miffed that one of the world's most highly paid footballers had flown in unshaven and reluctant to wave to his fans.
Como a todos en Newcastle, David impresionó a Milicevic.

Milicevic, who now plays for the Newcastle Jets, had dinner with Beckham and six others at Goldbergs restaurant.
Like almost everyone else in Newcastle, Milicevic was impressed with Becks.
"He was such a genuine guy, just one of the boys really," he said.
"No different to anyone of us. We all just had a few beers and hung out."
Milicevic helped organise a private party at Newcastle hotspot The King Street Hotel for the Jets and Beckham's team, the LA Galaxy.
