Capello: Beckham deberá ganarse su lugar en Inglaterra.

El jefe del equipo de fútbol de Inglaterra, Fabio Capello, insiste en que David Beckham no recibirá el titulo de capitan solo por compasión.

Beckham necesitaría solo una aparición más como capitán para igualar a Bobby Moore quien tiene el mayor número de titulos, 108.

''Lo miraré. Si juega para el Milan, es posible,'' dijo Capello. ''pero si no juega, entonces no formará parte del equipo. Es lo mismo para todos los jugadores. Tomaré una decision luego de hablar con los entrenadores, no por lástima.''

Beckham, who will be on loan at AC Milan next month, is one appearance away from matching Bobby Moore's 108, the most by an outfield player.

"I will watch him. If he plays for Milan, it's possible," Capello said. "If he doesn't play then he will not be in the squad. It's the same for all the players. I will decide after talking to the coaches, not on sympathy."
