David Beckham said: "Madrid are building a powerful side with important players and they can win every competition they enter. They're a team that strike fear into their opponents and I have no doubts that they are capable of winning everything.
"They have one of the best coaches in the world - Mourinho is a genius - and he has proved it with every team that he's coached."
Beckham added: "Ronaldo is a phenomenon and one of the best players around. Hopefully I'll get to play against him.
"I have a shoulder problem, but it feels better all the time and I have a week to prepare for the game against Madrid."
